Krasnikov Aleksey Alekseevich
Aleksey Krasnikov was born in Sverdlovsk in 1950. He graduated from Sverdlovsk Law Institute and the USSR Interior Ministry Academy. He had served in the Armed Forces of the Soviet Army from 1968 till 1970 and then worked at Unipromed Institute and Sverdlovsk Instrument-Making Plant. In 1973 he began to serve in the bodies of internal affairs as a junior authorized operations officer of the criminal investigation office of Linear Militia Department at Sverdlovsk station. He held different posts in organizational units of the Department of Internal Affairs on transport in Sverdlovsk and Surgut till 1992. In April 1992 Aleksey Krasnikov headed Sredneuralsk Department of Internal Affairs on transport. In March 1999 Krasnikov was appointed Head of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Sverdlovsk Region. In 2000 Aleksey Krasnikov was promoted to the rank of Militia Lieutenant General. From July 2001 till 2006 Aleksey Krasnikov headed the RF Main Department of Internal Affairs in Ural Federal District. From 2006 he held a post of Deputy Safety Director General of Koltsovo Airport, the largest Ural logistic center. Awarded "For Excellent Service in the Department of Internal Affairs", "Honourable Officer of the Department of Internal Affairs" and "Honourable Railwayman" signs, Meritorious Service Medals of three classes and "Sign of Honour" order. Married with two daughters.
