Results of the Company's Board of Directors Session

March 12, 2009 (Ekaterinburg) - ОАО "IDGC of Urals" (RTS and MICEX: MRKU), united operating company of the Urals region exercising control over distributive grid complexes in Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Kurgan and Perm regions - reports on the results of the Company's BoD session.

March 06, 2009 saw extramural BoD session which concluded to create BoD committee on technological connection to electric networks.

Creation of the BoD committee on technological connection will enable to elaborate on issues being the competence of the committee, thus increasing effectiveness and quality of BoD activity.

Creation of the committee is continuation of targeted Company's policy to improve Corporate Governance standards.
