SHARES LISTED INTO QUOTATION LIST “B” ON MICEX

ОАО “IDGC of Urals” (RTS and MICEX: MRKU), united operating company of the Urals region exercising control over distributive grid complexes in Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Kurgan and Perm regions – reports on listing of the Company’s shares into Quotation List “B” on MICEX.

According to resolution of MICEX Directorate (Protocol № 207 dated 29.12.2008), alterations # 598 to the list of equities admitted for trading at MICEX as well as listing agreement between OAO “IDGC of Urals” and ZAO “Stock Exchange MICEX” the Company’s common ordinary shares (state registration number - 1-01-32501-D dated 03.05.2005) were listed into quotation list “B” on ZAO “SE MICEX”.

Listing of the Company’s shares into quotation list “B” will enable OAO “IDGC of Urals”:

• To widen its investor base;
• To place and organize circulation of its equities abroad;
• To place commercial papers as well as list them into quotation lists with no additional requirements;
• To be used for calculating stock exchange technical indices.
