SHARES LISTED INTO QUOTATION LIST “B” IN RTS

ОАО "IDGC of Urals" (RTS and MICEX: MRKU), united operating company of the Urals region exercising control over distributive grid complexes in Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Kurgan and Perm regions - reports on listing of the Company's shares into Quotation List "B".

On December 09, 2008 common shares of ОАО "IDGC of Urals" with nominal value of RUR 0.1 will be listed into Quotation list "B" of ОАО "Stock Exchange "Russian Trading System" in accordance with Alterations # 156 to the List of Equities admitted for trading at ОАО "RTS". These alterations were approved by decision of the RTS management board chairman (Resolution # 229 dated December 04, 2008)

Listing of the Company's shares will enable OAO "IDGC of Urals":

• To widen its investor's base;
• To place and organize circulation of its equities abroad;
• To place commercial papers as well as list them into quotation lists with no additional requirements;
• To be used for calculating stock exchange technical indices.

In the nearest future we also plan to list our shares on ZAO "Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange" and obtain admission to trade in MICEX Quotation List "B".

Listing into quotation lists of Russian stock exchanges is one of our primary aims in the sphere of corporate governance and development of aftermarket.
