RESULTS OF THE COMPANY’S BOARD OF DIRECTORS SESSION

ОАО "IDGC of Urals" (RTS and MICEX: MRKU), united operating company of the Urals region exercising control over distributive grid complexes in Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, Kurgan and Perm regions - reports on the results of the Company's BoD session.

November 18, 2008 saw the Company's BoD session which approved new versions of the Regulation on information policy of OAO "IDGC of Urals" and Regulation on insider information of OAO "IDGC of Urals".

The previous versions of these internal documents were approved by the board of directors of OAO "IDGC of Urals and Volga" in 2005 and 2006. At that time ОАО "IDGC of Urals and Volga" was 100% affiliated company of ОАО RАО «UES of Russia», the company did not have Securities Prospectus as well as liability to disclose any other information.

In 2007 the Company changed its title into ОАО "IDGC of Urals". In 2008 the Company was restructured by incorporating ОАО "Permenergo", ОАО "Sverdlovenergo", ОАО "Chelyabenergo".

Main alterations and additions, written down in new version of the Regulation on information policy of ОАО "IDGC of Urals", come into disclosing the following information by the Company:

- Securities Prospectus, Quarterly report; significant facts, news on information which can influence securities value;

- Information on BoD committee membership;

- Information disclosure to the Company's shareholders;

- Additional requirements to information disclosure in Quarterly report.

As for the Regulation on insider information, the only alteration was in the title of the document.
