AGM to be held on June 25, 2010

Ekaterinburg (Ural Federal District, Russia) - ОАО "IDGC of Urals" (RTS and MICEX: MRKU) reports on the results of BoD session.

May 07, 2010 saw an extraordinary BoD meeting which decided upon the issues of preparation and holding 2009 AGM.

Annual General Shareholder Meeting will be held on June 25, 2010, it starts at 11.00 local time. Shareholder registration will start at 10.00. Place for AGM and registration: office 505, 140 Ulitsa Mamina Sibiryaka, Ekaterinburg, Russia.

May 12, 2009 is the register date.

The Company's Board of Directors approved the following AGM agenda:

1. On approval of the Annual Report, Annual Financial Statements, including profit and loss statement of ОАО "IDGC of Urals" as well as the Company's profit (including dividend pay-out) and loss distribution as of the reporting 2009 fiscal year.

2. On distribution of profit and 2009 dividend payout

3. On election of the Company's BoD members.

4. On election of the Company's Audit Commission.

5. On nomination of the Company's auditor.

6. On approval of the Charter in new edition.

The Company's Board of Directors also recommended AGM not to pay dividends on common shares as of 2009 results.

ОАО "IDGC of Urals"(est. in February 2005) is the main service provider responsible for energy transportation and technological connection of consumers to electric networks in Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk and Perm regions.

Common shares are traded on MICEX (Quotation list "B") and in RTS (Stock admitted for trading without listing). Free float is about 20%. In December, 2009 Consortium "RID-Expert RA" assigned us Corporate Governance rating at level "6+".
