Company’s ProfileOpen Joint-Stock Company «Interregional Distributive Grid Company of Urals» is a united operating company of the Urals region which transports energy using electric networks (0.4-220 kV) and technological connection to electric networks on the territory of Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions which are in the Urals Federal District as well as Perm region being a part of Volga Federal District. ОАО "IDGC of Urals" has dominating positions in energy transmission services in the region. We occupy 46% of energy market in conditional units of energy equipment and 66% in productive supply to consumer. The Company consists of 3 subsidiaries (Sverdlovenergo, Chelyabenergo and Permenergo) as well as 2 core associated companies (ОАО "Ekaterinburg Electric Grid Company", ОАО "Ekaterinburgenergosbyt" ). On June 11, 2008 our common shares began trading in Russian Trading System (RTS), on June 18, 2008 on Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange (MICEX). Since September 12, 2008 our common shares are traded under united state registration number and ticker MRKU both in RTS and MICEX. The shares are currently traded on MICEX (Quotation List "B") and in RTS (Stock admitted for trading without listing).
ОАО "IDGC of Urals" today is: - Aerial lines (0.4-220 kV) with the overall length of 122 054 km (chains); - Cable lines 4 691 km (0.4-110 kV); - 1 006 substations (35-220 kV) with the overall installed capacity of 20 453 МVА; - 27 390 transformer substations (6-20/0.4 kV) with the overall installed capacity of 7 407 МVА; Strategic aim of the Company is consolidation of network complexes of municipal institutions with the Company's networks to create united electric grid region on the service area.
