Customer Structure

Below is the number of electricity consumers connected to the regional distribution grid company networks under the jurisdiction of “IDGC of Urals”, JSC.

Pursuant to the tariff-related decisions of the industry regulators in force in 2007 as regards the tariff formation mechanism, SverdlovEnergo and KurganEnergo shall be the grid companies providing the customers and regional retailers (sellers and electricity producers) with a service to transmit electricity across their own grids as well as the grids owned by adjacent area companies to the end users on the basis of concluded contracts. Therefore, the number of consumers serviced by the RDGC's will be up compared to the number of customers connected to the RDGC grids within their own boundaries. In 2008, for the consumers of Chelyabinsk and Perm regions the cost of power transmission service will be the same for each customer group in terms of appropriate voltage level at connection point irregardless of the fact to which territorial grid company networks the customer electrical installations are connected. Accordingly, the number of customers in those regions will be up as compared to the 2007 level.
